I grew up around Chicago, and ever since Scott Norwood in 1991 I've been a Buffalo Bills fan. Then 2 years ago the Bills put Flutie in at Quarterback after Rob Johnson started a season 0-3, and Took them to the playoffs. No matter how many times Wade Phillips tried to bench Flutie, Johnson would still get hurt and Flutie would come in to save the day. Now the brains in our front offices have gotten rid of Flutie, and I'm pretty darn disappointed. Care for a new Bears fan? Feel free to make Doug an offer.

I have been a bears fan since I was in 2nd grade, 1964. Since then they have been good only a couple of years. But with Sayers, BUTKUS, Ditka, Fencik, Plank, and Payton, they have been fun to watch. As a friend of mine once said, "The only thing worse than a bad football team is a bad football team that is boring." For twelve years, the bears have been bad and boring.
